DRY NEEDLING
What is Dry Needling?
Dry needling is a specialized treatment technique used to relieve muscle pain, tightness, and movement restrictions using very thin, sterile needles.
Unlike acupuncture, dry needling is a modern technique that involves inserting needles into tight bands of muscle, fascia, or other tissues to release “trigger points” that cause pain.
Dry needling is often incorporated into a broader physical therapy program and may be combined with hands-on therapy, corrective exercises, stretching, and movement training.
